Huawei is working on an alternate OS, in case of its relationship with google sours.

The company reportedly had a team working on the mobile OS in Scandinavia with the engineers including ex-nokia employee. But huawei isn't the only Android phone maker company who is working on an alternate OS, samsung has its own Linux based Tizen OS, Although that Tizen OS  deployed in Lot device so far, source speaking to The information say Huawei's operating system "isn't Far along"
