LeEco Becomes the largest shareholder in coolpad

LeEco has announced that it has become the largest shareholder in coolpad after LeEco purchased another 11% of the latter's shares.Now LeEco has a total 28.9 of coolpad's shares. LeEco stated that it would benefit from coolpad's sales channel while coolpad would get to integrate LeEco ecosystem into its smart devices

After purchasing 11% of latter's share LeEco become coolpad's largest share. LeEco bought the 11% coolpad share from data dreamland, the former largest shareholder with 1.047 billion HKD(US $135 million). With this 11% share, LeEco holds a total of 28.9 of coolpad's share and become the shareholder of one of the top 4 domestic mobile brand. On the same day, Mr. Jia Yueting, founder and owner of LeEco also confirmed a deal at a speech at Russia's st. Petersburg international Eco.
